1 tablespoon floor allspice
1 teaspoon floor cinnamon
1 (four pound) beef shoulder roast
1/4 cup molasses
Sauce:
3 cups barbeque sauce
1 cup robust brewed espresso
1 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 pinch cayenne pepper, or greater to taste
4 Italian-fashion hoagie buns, break up lengthwise and toasted
1/4 cup onion, chopped (optionally available)
