Bea and Bill's Bread and Butter Pickles |

Ingredients :
- 16 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
- eight white onions, sliced thinly
- 1/three cup pickling salt
- 3 cloves garlic, halved

- Combine cucumbers, onions, pickling salt, and garlic in a large pot. Place sufficient cracked ice atop the cucumber aggregate to cowl by at least 2 inches.
