Barb's Chocolate Sauce |
"If you want a sweet chocolate sauce this is for you. It has been used over ice cream, angel meals cake, muffins, and spoons! It's clean to make and stores nicely within the fridge. I commonly do a double recipe and save in the fridge until we are out. Enjoy."
Ingredients :
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 (1 ounce) square semisweet baking chocolate
- 1/3 cup warm water
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- half of teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add chocolate to butter; prepare dinner and stir until chocolate melts absolutely into the butter and the colour is constant, about 5 mins.
- Slowly movement hot water into the chocolate aggregate whilst stirring always; upload sugar and corn syrup. Continue to cook and stir till the sugar dissolves completely into the liquid, approximately 10 mins.
- Remove saucepan from heat and stir vanilla extract and salt into the sauce.
